Which screws withstand high temperatures?
For service far beyond 200 °C, NBK offers heat-resistant screws in a range of materials: SUS316L stainless, molybdenum (melting point 2623 °C), high-purity alumina ceramic (up to 1500 °C), Vespel (350 °C, very low outgassing), plus Hastelloy C-276 and Inconel that stay strong near 600 °C. Choose the material by peak temperature, chemical exposure and whether electrical insulation is required.
Materials for high temperature
For applications that go far beyond 200 °C we offer different kinds of steels, ceramics and engineered plastics. Below is a selection from the available wide range; downloading the PDF gives all available types and materials.
Cleaning & compliance
Molybdenum, Vespel and Hastelloy screws are cleanroom-washed and packed; Inconel is available cleanroom-washed and packed on request. All screws are RoHS2 compliant.
