Flexible couplings for high temperature applications: what actually sets the limit — and NBK’s series that run to 200 °C

Most flexible couplings stop at 60 or 80 °C — not because the metal gives up, but because the rubber or resin element does. NBK publishes an allowable operating temperature for every polymer-element series, a torque derating that starts at just 30 °C, and a dedicated cleanroom/vacuum/heat-resistant family whose Oldham type runs to 200 °C.
