Chemical-Resistant Screws
Screws that protect the thread and head against aggressive chemicals: SUS316L HiMo, Inconel, Hastelloy C-276 and titanium for process, plating and semiconductor equipment.
- Cleanroom
- Chemical-proof
- Heat-resistant
- Stainless steel
- Stainless steel 316L
- Titanium
- RoHS2 compliant
What makes a screw chemical resistant?
Chemical resistance comes from the base material, not a coating: high-molybdenum SUS316L HiMo resists grain-boundary corrosion, Inconel withstands oxidising acids and ammonia, Hastelloy C-276 handles chlorine gas, saltwater and acids, and titanium resists seawater and most chemicals. NBK matches the alloy to your exact media so both thread and head survive. Cleanroom washing and packaging are available.
Protecting thread and head
Screws with excellent chemical resistance protect the thread and screw head from chemicals. With various materials there should be a screw that fits your application requirements. Downloading the PDF gives all available types and materials.
About SUS316L HiMo
SUS316L HiMo steel, used in SNSX, is a specialised alloy with low carbon content and elevated chromium, nickel and molybdenum. The reduced carbon enhances resistance to grain-boundary corrosion cracking, making it more durable in challenging environments. All screws are RoHS2 compliant.
