The SVSS is NBK’s standard vacuum-vented socket head cap screw in SUS304 stainless steel (class A2-70). A hole drilled along the centre lets trapped air escape during pump-down, eliminating the virtual leaks that blind tapped holes cause in vacuum chambers. Supplied ultrasonically cleaned and cleanroom-packed, it is the default vacuum compatible screw for semiconductor and life-science equipment.
