The SNSTA is a hex socket head cap screw machined from tantalum, a refractory metal with outstanding chemical resistance and low magnetic permeability. Its specific gravity is about twice that of ordinary steel, and it withstands aggressive acids that would attack stainless. Cleanroom-washed and packed, it is a specialist screw for corrosive chemical and non-magnetic process equipment.
